Vegan Travel - Las Vegas Edition - The Wynn/Encore - A Blog About Stuff

When I initially started thinking about writing this, I thought it would be about all of the great vegan restaurants I’ve tried in Las Vegas. As I started writing down the names of all of these restaurants however, I realized that I was in fact only listing restaurants from The Wynn & Encore, haha oopsies.

But in all fairness, as a vegan, if you’re going to stay in LV, there’s really no better option. Every one of their restaurants has it’s own vegan menu or vegan options, including their in-room dining (hello-amazing).

“Wynn and Encore are renowned for offering vegan and vegetarian menus in every restaurant. Our priority is sourcing the highest quality seasonal produce, and our chefs use innovative meat-free and dairy-free ingredients to create delicious flavor combinations. Vegan chef Tal Ronnen collaborates with our restaurants to craft unique and healthy dishes for every meal of the day.” – The Wynn site

*One thing to note, some restos have a separate vegan menu that you may have to ask for*

So, that being said, My Top Vegan Restaurants in Las Vegas – The Wynn/Encore

Sinatra - Las Vegas - Vegan Travel - The Wynn:Encore - A Blog About Stuff

1. Sinatra

Atmosphere: Old Hollywood chic. It has a very clean crisp colour palette with pops of orangey reds & chartreuse greens. And of course, there are portraits of Frank Sinatra everywhere.

The Food: Deliciously Italian. My husband and I ate here on our 1 year wedding anniversary and it was romantic & intimate while still being lively. The food was so unreal and so filling, but maybe that’s because I kinda went to town on the vegan bread & butter before the food came haha.

Overall Rating: 5/5 – The service is impeccable. The only thing that would make this place better is if it were an entirely vegan restaurant & located by my house, haha.

Get The: The Vegan Caesar is unreal & definitely try the Agnolotti (I could have licked the plate!)

Wazuzu - Las Vegas - The Wynn:Encore - Vegan Travel - A Blog About Stuff

2. Wazuzu

Atmosphere: This place is really pretty & very on brand with the “Pan-Asian” vibe. There’s lots of red & a 27-foot dragon made up of ninety-thousand individual crystals. My favourite decore items are the giant golden pears found in the restaurant & guiding the front entrance.

The Food: So good. There’s vegan sushi, Dim Sum, & noodles, what more could you ask for really?

Overall Rating: 5/5 – there’s really nothing to complain about

Get The: Jade Dumplings & the famous Vegan Drunken Noodles

Tableau - Las Vegas - Vegan Travel - The Wynn:Encore - A Blog About Stuff

3. Tableau

Atmosphere: This one is one of my favs at The Wynn. Conveniently located right at the base of the Tower Suites. So if you’re staying there, I can guarantee you’ll be having majority of your breakfasts here. The décor is French countryside-chic, really makes you feel like you’re on vacation.

The Food: Bomb dot com. They’re only open for breakfast & lunch so the dishes reflect that. They used to make an amazing vegan Benedict but as I’m writing this I don’t see that item on the menu unfortunately. It’s definitely worth an ask though, ‘cause it is deadly.

Overall Rating: 4/5 –I wish they would differentiate the vegan & vegetarian menu items. I think most of the vegetarian dishes can be made vegan but not all.

Get The: If they don’t have the Vegan Benedict (1st choice) then get the Apple Pancakes (make sure you ask for them to be vegan – to be safe – ’cause I think they have a non-vegan version too). Also, their Overnight Oats are really good too (aka. peanut butter oats, drool).

Jardin - Las Vegas - Vegan Travel - The Wynn:Encore - A Blog About Stuff

4. Jardin

Atmosphere: This place might be my fav but it also might just be because it was the first restaurant in Vegas that I realized had actual vegan options, haha (I’m sure you know that feeling). This place is Tropical opulence. They have lots of greenery & Palms in the atrium, with big colourful tiles & disco ball columns. The patio is surrounded by one of the resorts pools, which makes for a fun lunch & a romantic dinner.

The Food: Drool-worthy. I’m not sure if their online menu matches their in-house menu but every time I’ve been there they have vegan pizzas, burgers, salads, & starters. Everything has been delicious. I’ll be honest though, I prefer this place for lunch than dinner. Their dinner menu is a bit light on the vegan options in my opinion.

Overall Rating: 5/5 – I love eating outside by the pool

Get The: If they have pizza, it’s delicious, if not… Get The: Crispy Rainbow Cauliflower & the Impossible Cheeseburger (it comes with crispy onions & vegan thousand-islands dressing – need I say more? – Also to note: Many of their restaurants feature the Impossible burger and I have to say this one is better than the other, even though they’re all amazing.)

Charlie's Bar & Grill - Vegan Travel - Las Vegas - The Wynn:Encore - A Blog About Stuff

5. Charlie’s Bar & Grill

Atmosphere: It’s a sports bar. Located pretty much in the center of slot machines & live betting. It’s loud & dark & bright all at the same time but that’s kind of Vegas right?

The Food: Normally I wouldn’t include a resto that only has 1 (yes that’s right only 1) vegan food item but it’s pretty freaken tasty. It’s also super convenient because this place is rarely busy so if you’re in a rush to eat and then be on your way, this is a great option.

Overall Rating: 3/5 (borderline 2/5) – They need more vegan options 100%

Get The: Charlie’s Vegan Impossible Burger – Charlie’s sauce is delicious.

Red 8 - Las Vegas - Vegan Travel - The Wynn:Encore - A Blog About Stuff

6. Red 8

Atmosphere: This place is really pretty. Again, it is pretty much all red which obviously suites the name (Red 8), with punches of black & ivory/gold tones. It’s very elegant & surprisingly bright considering it’s colour palette. I went for lunch & found it to be very casual & not too busy.

The Food: So yummy. They have a decent selection of vegan Dim Sum, Appetizers, & Entrées. Their dishes include Cantonese noodles & Hong-Kong BBQ.

Overall Rating: 4/5 – would love more vegan options especially in the Cantonese noodle & Hong-Kong BBQ department since that’s what they’re known for.

Get The: Surprisingly the Gardein Chick’n Lettuce Wraps are really tasty & light & refreshing. The Cantonese Vegan Pot Stickers are super yummy too.

Terrace Point Café - Las Vegas - Vegan Travel - The Wynn:Encore - A Blog About Stuff

7. Terrace Point Cafe

Atmosphere: This place is cute. It’s very similar to Tableau in style & menu. They’re also only open for breakfast & lunches. The place is decorated similarly to Tableau but a bit darker with its deep wood tones & wooden bar area. You can also sit poolside, which is always my fav.

The Food: They have a nice selection of vegan menu items, 3 of which are featured on their All Day Breakfast Menu. Again, the food is breakfast & lunch so think omelets, salads, & sandwiches.

Overall Rating: 4/5 – can’t complain, except for 1 time we got a salad & the Gardein chick’n was soggy & disgusting, haha. But I must add, our server was amazing & she voided the salad from the bill.

Get The: I’m going to say it again but the Impossible Sliders are so good! Something about tiny little burgers is just so appetizing. But their Vegan Spanish Omelet is really great too.

In-Room Dining - Las Vegas - Vegan Travel - The Wynn:Encore - A Blog About Stuff

8. In-Room Dining

Atmosphere: I mean, it is not too often that a vegan gets to order actual vegan menu items up to their room, especially for breakfast. At best we can usually hope for some fresh fruit & maybe a dry bagel? So the fact that The Wynn & Encore have vegan in-room dining options makes this place that much more special to me.

What I love about in-room dining is, not having to leave the comfort of your room. Not ready to get dressed for the day? Throw on your robe & have their staff come set up a beautiful breakfast in front of their massive windows overlooking the pools. Wanting an intimate dinner alone? They have you covered, candles and all!

The Food: They have smoothies, fruit, oats & breakfast bowls, potatoes, muffins, toast (vegan avocado toast & vegan French toast to be exact), scrambled eggs (yup, you read that right), vegan cheese dips, soups & salads, Burgers & fries, & rice bowls. The options are kind of unreal considering & having tried many of these items I can say it’s all really good.

Overall Rating: 4/5 – I would love for vegan pasta & pizza options

Get The: Just Egg Scramble or the Vegan French Toast

Honourable Mentions:

(I have yet to try these places – sometimes the menus outside of the restaurants don’t show the vegan options & in the past that has discouraged me/led me to think they didn’t have options. Now I know for next time that I have new places to try, yeah!)

LakesideThis place looks really pretty! Set along one of their pools aka. “Lakeside”, and filled with beautiful bold vibrant colours.

What would I try?: The Smoked Mushroom Chowder sounds delicious & the Crispy Hearts of Palm

Costa Di Mare Stunning! They redesigned their dining room and won the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award & they have elegant little cabanas that overlook their serene lagoon. I definitely have to try this place next time.

What would I try?: The Lasagna & the Minestrone Soup

Urth CaféLike an earthy-hippie style café. Lots of artisanal teas & coffees. You can find many of these located throughout Los Angeles & one inside the shops at Wynn. They have a bunch of vegan options from smoothies to paninis & desserts.

What would I try?: Avocado Toast or the Vegan Panini Portobello

AllegroLocated inside the Wynn, its very on-brand with lots of red décor & a dark romantic atmosphere. They only have a few vegan options but it’s worth noting incase you’re traveling with non-vegans.

What would I try?: the Baked Vegan Lasagna sounds unreal

Wing LeiThis place looks cute as hell. All gold & yellow décor, mixed with punches of green. It looks like a Chinese tea party. It should be noted that this restaurant was “the first Chinese restaurant in North America to earn a Michelin star”.

What would I try?: Tai Chin Gardein Chick’n

Don’t Bother –

The Buffet – Ugh!!! Don’t even get me started on this place! My husband and I waited in line for like 20 minutes because it’s apparently sooooo amazing; only to pay, get seated, and find out that they literally have ZERO vegan options!!! Even looking at their menu online I see ok, not zero options but, corn chowder soup & a cookie. I’m sorry but that is not a buffet if those are your only two options. I’ve been to all-inclusive resorts with more vegan options than that (my fellow vegans you know what I mean about that haha). And it’s not cheap either, save your money and go to any of the restaurants listed above instead.
