Vegan Skincare
Having been back to work this year and being faced with the new challenges of wearing PPE for at least 12 hours a day, I’ve developed an easy morning skincare routine that has helped keep my skin healthy & glowing all year long!
Every day I do this 5 step morning skincare routine which takes only 10 mins. This has truly helped keep my chin clear where I would normally struggle with different types of hormonal breakouts. It has also helped keep my cheeks from drying out from the constant friction of mask wearing.
5 steps to Glowing Skin (Morning Skincare Routine):
- Makeup Eraser Cloth – I don’t like to use a cleanser in the morning. I stopped about 5 years ago and my skin has thanked me. Some people produce more oils & can totally handle cleansing twice a day though, so stick what works for you. For me, it’s a warm wash cloth to remove any dirt & grime.
- Pacifica Glow Baby Booster Serum w. Glycolic Acid & Vitamin C – With damp skin I take have a dropper’s worth, rub into my palms and pat and rub onto my skin, face, neck, ears.
- The Ordinary Caffeine Solution Eye Serum – I take the smallest little dollop onto my ring fingers and I gently pat & rub this serum into the hollows of my eyes, on the top & bottom of my lips, and a little into my laugh lines.
- The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics Serum – I do the same thing with this as I did with the Vitamin C serum. Pat & rub all over your face, neck, ears.
- Sun Bum Sunscreen – Lastly, I use sunscreen. I started skipping moisturizer because I found my skin wasn’t needing that extra layer. If you have a nice lightweight cream, by all means use it, but for me, I’ve been finding this to be enough.
- (Optional Step) Nurse Jamie Uplift Massaging Beauty Roller – I like to use this after the serums and before the sunscreen. I love massaging under my eyes with the coolness of the roller to help with any puffiness. My face tends to get quite puffy in the morning (as you can see in these pics 😹) so this really helps.

- Drink warm lemon water every morning
- Have a green smoothie daily

I’d heard of the The Ordinary but hadn’t read anything about it. I love Sun Bum and use it on my kids for protecting their faces often! It’s one of my favorite face sunscreens (not to mention it’s pretty easy to find which helps). I’ve been meaning to ask what you use for a makeup remover. I’d love to see a nighttime skin care routine post too!
You read my mind girl! Totally going to do a night time routine and it’s even easier haha. I use Kopari’s cleansing oil & a Makeup Eraser Cloth, followed by a serum.

I recently bought an EcoTools face roller.. should probably start using it in the mornings 0_0 I use mainly serum and facewash in my skincare routine. Good tip to use a warm washcloth, I’ll try that instead of washing everytime since skin tends to get quite dry in this season.
Oooh nice! Try keeping the roller in the fridge for extra depuffing magic.
I love that you shared this routine. The Glow Baby Booster Serum looks like a must try. It’s so awesome that you can have a multiproduct morning routine with all cruelty free, vegan products! The world has come a long way.
