I had been looking for a wonderful vegan vitamin c for awhile now. I didn’t realize that I would find one that I would then become completely obsessed with!
Price: $16 USD (29 ML/1 oz)
Initial Reaction: I am already a fan of Pacifica products so I had high expectations for this vegan vitamin c serum. In fact, one of my holy grail vegan beauty items is from Pacifica & you can read my review on their under eye brightener right here.
That being said, I had just finished a vitamin c serum from Naka Platinum that I surprisingly really enjoyed. Surprising because I have only ever used Naka’s supplements and never any of their skincare items.
So, I had big shoes to fill for a c serum that could compare with Naka’s.
Usage: I’ve been using this vegan vitamin c for about a month now & still have a ton left. Considering how affordable the bottle already is and how little you have to use each day, I can see this lasting a little while. It’s really a great value.
Skin Concerns:
- General dryness
- Fine lines
- Enlarged pores
- Minimal breakouts
- Slight Rosacea on cheeks
Claims: “It’s no secret that glowing, fresh skin looks youthful. This concentrated bioactive serum, with stabilized vitamin C and glycolic acid, is a next-generation support system that helps brighten and relieve clogged, dull skin. Our results driven combination of ingredients include vitamin C – a beloved antioxidant & brightener support for skin, and glycolic acid – an AHA that has been shown to help improve texture, brighten, and refresh lackluster skin.
Ingredients We Love
Vegan Vitamin C: Powerful antioxidant that promotes skin glow
Glycolic acid: Skin renewing agent that improves skin texture + revives dull skin.
- For all skin types
- Formulated without parabens, phthalates, SLS, or mineral oil
- Made in the USA with the best globally sourced ingredients”
Results: I really like this serum. The natural fragrance they use actually makes it smell like liquid Skittles which I freaken love! Some of the more natural clean beauty can tend to smell a little too “green” sometimes so I really do enjoy this fun candy scent.
Final Thoughts: This serum leaves my skin super soft & it really has been gently exfoliating dead skin cells to leave my skin smooth and bright.
I like to use this in my morning skincare routine, after my eye serums & before my heavier creams/moisturizers. I also make sure I apply my sunscreen afterwards as any type of exfoliant can make your skin a little more sensitive to the sun, so be sure to wear your sunscreen too 🤙
Will I Re-Purchase? Definitely! For $16USD I really cannot complain! It does exactly what it claims to do and everything that I would want & expect it to. I’m also curious to try more of their Glow Baby series to see how they all perform.
Where to Buy? Pacifica site and you can find Pacifica products sold at many health food stores & Target and some Walmarts.

aqua, glycerin, glycolic acid, terminalia ferdinandiana (kakadu plum) fruit extract, sodium ascorbyl phosphate (vitamin C), silica, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, parfum (natural).

Great review.
I’ve been hearing that I need to use a good quality vitamin c serum. I’ll have to keep an eye out for this one. It sounds wonderful.
I’ve seen this in stores but haven’t thought to try it. I must now!
Sounds like a wonderful serum! I have a good one but I like knowing about other products for when I want to try something new!
I’m the same way, so many great vegan skincare products out there that work but I’m always down to try something new.
Wow I’m curious about this one. I’ve used a lot of stuff from Pacifica and unfortunately so far have felt ho-hum about most of them. I love all their ingredients and that they’re vegan though, so I’m wanting to love them. I currently use Beauty Counter’s All Bright C Serum and seriously love it. It’s pricey but so so awesome (and I love that it has turmeric in it). I love your beauty reviews and always look forward to them!
Have you used mainly their makeup or their skincare? Their makeup is on the natural side and some products could use some improving, especially their colour ranges. But their skincare has always been quite good imo. I’m thinking of doing a big Pacifica haul bc I’m curious to try even more from them.
Love a good vitamin C product! Especially when it’s cruelty free and Vegan
Thank you for the informative post !
