Initial Reaction: This is another one of my staples so it’s hard to give a true initial reaction. I will say, it takes some practice to really nail those wispy brow hair strokes but once you do you’ll be super happy with it. It’s kind of like a cat eye, the more you practice it, the better you get at it.
Usage: They last a decent amount of time. It really depends on how much product you use when you fill in your brows and how often you use it really. My last top up (pre-covid) had a 9 month gap, so that’s not bad in my opinion.
Skin Concerns: or rather Brow Concerns:
– I like to lightly bulk my own brows up. I grew up in the 90’s so my brows are a little thinner than they probably would have been naturally but they’re not Gwen Stefani thin by any means, haha.
– For my actors, I like to have a versatile product that can naturally build up a brow that doesn’t look overly visible on camera
Claims: “Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz® is an ultra-slim, retractable eyebrow pencil ideal for outlining and detailing brows with professional-quality precision. Available in 12 shades, the unique wax formula features a perfect blend of eyebrow color and wax to deliver a high color payoff and add natural-looking texture and the appearance of a fuller brow. The ultra-fine tip mimics hair like strokes in sparse areas of the eyebrow, while the spoolie end blends for a natural-looking finish.”
Results: Precision – This finely tipped pencil allows you to draw thin hair strokes to mimic your natural brow hairs. The soft fluffy spoolie really allows you to fluff out any harsh lines or overly dark/pigmented placement. ABH Brow Wiz is also great for filling in any sparse areas just like a powder would. The wax in the pencil doesn’t get pilled up which is super common in wax brow pencils and the wax really helps keep the product in place all day long.
Final Thoughts: I love ABH’s Brow Wiz pencils. I love that they’re vegan (bc a lot of wax brow products aren’t) & I love how well they perform. I use them professionally & personally. They’re easy to keep clean & sanitized in this Covid world – super important to think about now. They come in 12 colours & they’re so teeny, so they’re really easy to transport around in my kit.
Will I Re-purchase? 100% – I keep this in my kit & I use it personally

Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) – Brow Wiz – Vegan Beauty Review
I’ve been using their pots for years but haven’t tried the pencil. I think I’m going to give it a try for a more natural looking finish.
I don’t use anything for my brows (never have) and have been debating finding something. This sounds cool! Doing anything with my brows would be a new experience so I’d need to practice a bit lol!
Oooh… fresh brows! You have a great natural shape to your brows so you wouldn’t need too much of anything. This pencil is really great for all levels bc it’s so thin and can deliver light natural looking strokes. It takes a little finessing but it’s worth it. You can get a shade slightly lighter than your brows too. That will give you a chance to get used to filling your brows a bit without feeling like it’s too dark/too much.
