Colour – Dreamlight
Vegan beauty has surely come a long way. While there are constant changes & new formulations one thing is for certain, people are starting to care about their ingredients and about animal testing. Truly that’s a win for all of us!
Price: $16 USD (15 OZ)
Initial Reaction: This is one of my holy grails. I’ve been using it for so long that I don’t think I could possibly remember my initial reaction. One thing I will say now is, they really need to expand on their colour range of this line. Everyone deserves some under eye brightening magic.
Usage: As mentioned, I have been using this vegan beauty item for many, many years now. Each tube lasts quite some time but the PAO states 6 months. Anything you apply around your eyes you want to be a little cautious with their expirations. A good rule of thumb is, if it smells funky it probably is funky.
Skin Concerns:
- minor discolouration (aka. tiny bit of blueness)
- mild dryness (nothing serious)
- minor fine lines
Claims: “Stay awake in this life (or at least look like you are)! Diminish the appearance of time and fatigue with our hydrating, brightening liquid coverage that leaves skin looking energized, radiant and wide awake. Reflective, brightening minerals and natural beneficials minimize the look of lines and dark circles.
It’s like a little magic wand under your eyes.”
Results: Amazing! I love Pacifica’s Dreamlit Under Eye Brightener. A little goes a long way & I really only apply it where it needs brightening. And because I am not over applying the product it doesn’t collect or crease. I do however recommend setting it with a super fine setting powder with a very light hand.
3 Finely Milled Setting Powders That I Recommend:
Most of the time I wear this under eye brightener & nothing else not even concealer. I should add however, it does wear well under concealers & helps give some extra brightening power without being too thick.
The key with under eye concealing is to apply it lightly. Thick caked on under eye concealer is never a good look, I don’t care what other people say, it’s wrong & it ages you unnecessarily.
Final Thoughts: I usually have multiples on hand and this is a constant repurchase.
As I mentioned above, they really need to expand this shade range. They currently have 2 shades, Dreamlight (a pinky/salmon tone – perfect for fair to medium skin tones with pink to light olive undertones) & Bare (a yellow/nude tone – perfect for olive complexions with a yellow to orangey undertone). It is light coverage so the two colours can be used for a wider range of skin tones than something that is more full coverage but still… it’s 2022 and vegan beauty needs to pull through too!
More reasons why I love this little guy…
Age defying ingredients like kelp extract, rose oil, coconut water & peptides!
It has caffeine right in it! Caffeine in eye products is always a good sign. It helps create circulation aka. Stimulating the “blood” around your eyes which helps improve the discolouration/dark circles.
Lastly, it’s formulated without parabens, phthalates & petroleum. WIN!
Will I Re-purchase? Time & time again! This is one of my vegan beauty holy grails!!!
Where To Buy? Pacifica site, Amazon, & many health food/supplement stores carry Pacifica as well as Target

This looks so pretty. I’ll have to keep an eye out for it.
I haven’t heard of Pacifica but this looks really nice on you.
nice idea! I will use this product
Love it! I don’t currently use an under eye brightener but I’ve been considering it. I wonder if I’d need to start using a foundation or a tinted face lotion or something if I started using this… I wish we lived closer to each other so you could just show me what the heck to do lol!
Haha aww I would love that! Honestly, most of the time I don’t wear anything on my face and just this. Bc I use so little & even less when I’m not wearing any base, you can hardly tell except it’s a little more bright. Just a dab or two and use your ring finger to pat it out.
Great idea! Under my eyes are always dark but that is genetics. I may give this a try!
Let me know if you do! I’m sure you’ll love it!
I love Pacifica products! I have purchased this product in the past and really like it. I also use the Transcendent Concentrated Concealer on days when I feel I need more coverage.
I know, Pacifica products are so great! Glad you’re already a fan.
Does this product help with bags under the eyes? I have a really hard time with this due to a medical condition I have, so I’m not sure that any kind of product will help, but I’d sure like to find something that at least reduces their appearance!
Hi Melissa, so I am a professional makeup artist and would love to help troubleshoot your difficulty with you. If you would like to send me a private email to keirst@ablogaboutstuff.com we can get a little more personal.
I do think that this product itself has amazing skincare benefits like the caffeine for circulating the stagnant blood under the eyes but it’s hard to say how it would perform on just under eye bags alone.
But please feel free to reach out, I’d love to help if I can.
I’ve never heard of this product before and now I need to try it! I usually use Origins Ginzing Eye Brightening Cream, but as a follow beauty product lover I am always looking to try out new products. Where do you usually purchase it from? I googled and it looks like Target carries it?
I used to also love the Ginzing eye cream but unfortunately that was before I found out they still tested on animals.
So the Pacifica eye brightener really is a nice dupe for that same effect.
Target does carry it and so do most natural or health food stores.
Let me know what you think of it when you get to try it!
