If you’re anything like me well then you absolutely hate it when your hands feel dry 😅. With Covid & being a makeup artist, I’m always having to wash & sanitize my hands which leads to some super dry cracked cuticles. So I’ve been on the search for a great vegan hand cream that helps to restore moisture while creating a preventative barrier.
Price: $25 (6.5ml/2.2 fl oz.)
Initial Reaction: I was very surprised by how little product you actually need. There’s a soft slip that really allows the cream to just glide all over your hands. Once you’ve rubbed it in & it has a second to set, your hands are left feeling soft and nourished.
I also love that this vegan hand cream is fragrance free. Some fragrances can be so overpowering & having my hands in actors faces with an offensive smell is never a good idea. It’s nice to have this option.
Usage: I purchased this December 1st and have been using it about once a day nearly everyday. There is still nearly a full tube because you really only need about a nickel size amount with each application. So if this lasts the year then it works out to around $2 a month. That’s not too bad but I’ll give an update once I go through the entire tube.
Skin Concerns: As previously mentioned, my hands tend to get dry and there can be noticeable cracks around my cuticles and around the tops of my nails.
Claims: “The Hand Cream‘s peptides work as a “glove for the hands” to defend against environmental stressors. Its formula is rich in marula oil, vitamins C and E, and omega-6, and omega-9 to nourish skin, while niacinamide supports skin‘s moisture barrier. It‘s also fragrance-free, non-sensitizing, works on sensitive skin, and is pH balanced.”
Will I Re-purchase? I think so! I haven’t tried much from Nécessaire but as I’m getting to know the brand more I am starting to fall in love.
This company is:
- Clean
- Vegan
- Dermatologist-Tested
- Hypoallergenic
- National Eczema Association
- Biodegradable
- Climate Neutral
- Plastic Neutral
- FSC-Certified
- 1% For The Planet
- Cruelty-Free
I would like to note: This is definitely an expensive vegan hand cream & there are more affordable alternatives out there no doubt. I do however think this is a wonderful product because it actually does what it claims & because the ingredients are of a very high standard. I hate splurging on something that doesn’t give me the results I’m looking for.
Where To Buy? Sephora or Nécessaire

Haven’t seen this one before but I’m loving that it’s fragrance-free. There are so many hidden chemicals in some of those fragrances too. My shopping list at Sephora is growing lol! When you squeeze it out of the tube, is it really firm or does it rub in like lotion? That’s my complaint about hand creams. I know they’re meant to heal more than lotions, but they’re really hard to rub in sometimes! But I’ll definitely be checking this one out!
Not at all! This one is so soft and buttery. Very easy to squeeze out too. I know what you mean about some of those more balm like creams, not like those at all thankfully.
My hand and feet dry in winter. I always searching for any good product But now I want to use this. This is a great product.
It has really helped the winter dryness.
That looks like a great product! I’m always needing something for my hands and feet in the winter!
You know, I have yet to try it on my feet but I bet it would be so nice! Lately my feet have been getting dry too
How awesome and fragrance free too
Looks like a great hand cream. I like that it’s fragrance free. Can’t stand my hands smell especially if I have cream on and eat some food. Lol.
True! Especially the super floral ones.
I have actually heard amazing things about this brand! I need to try this – especially because of the ingredients! This was an incredible review, and I love your photos!!!
Aw thank you so much! They really seem like a great company. I want to try more now.
My hands are always bad in the winter. And as a germaphobe, the contant washing gets painful!
Right? I can so relate!
It’s always great to know about new vegan brands!! They sounds awsome, I will give them a try next time I buy my hand cream!
Love that more and more vegan brands are becoming easily accessible.
Looks like a great product!
I can’t stand scented hand creams.
Me neither
Love a nourishing vegan hand cream! I appreciate that it’s fragrance free as well.
Oh! I have cracked winter hands! Need a cream this!
The worst time of year for our skin.
Dry hands are a battle here on the hill. I make my own (it’s vegan!) but backups options are always welcomed.
I bet you make a great one too!
This looks like a great hand cream.
It has really helped me this winter for sure!
My hands Are horrible right now! I’ll have to check out this hand cream
It’s that time of year!
As a nurse, my hands have taken a beating, too. This looks like it’s worth a try… I am always looking for kinder products! Thanks for the recommendation!
Oh man I have seen some of my poor nurse/doctor friends. I feel for you! And thank you for all that you do
This cream looks legit! My hands crack and bleed like crazy in the winter if I don’t keep them moisturized. It’s tough to find a product that’s effective and not super greasy.
Right?! That greasy feeling doesn’t bother me but it does when I see it left behind on my phone/computer/fridge/table/etc .
I am always on a look out for a new hand cream . Thanks for the review … going to buy this
You’re going to love it.
